The British Again!

Wither you watched the BBC 4 Series on the origins of Eugenics or not, one will have noticed that Britain continues to try to influence the outcome and to be the final authority on the matter which is nothing more than continued hypocrisy on the matter?

Much work is being done in many nations today and many are being treated as morally not correct, but much early work that was done in the U.K. was as bad if not worse!

The one area that was highlighted was that of the same political language being used through the decades in relation to the poor and that the ideals of selective separation has not changed with the British benefit system enforcing a three child family!

Russia another First!

First humanoid Robot on ISS.

Someone has to be first at everything and Russia was first in the so called space race, while today it may seem to be left behind it remains a vital key player in the International Space Station and now with the first humanoid Robot!

Many did not expect this, I think perhaps hopes were set on S-Korea and Japan for that breakthrough and it just shows us that the media can be very biased at times in most things?

This is a starting break for the safety of humans in space, with a return to the Moon and a possible mission to Mars much will be gathered for essential works or mundane duties to be served by disposable robots?

We are not limited anymore to Earth and can leave the cradle to go out and explore our Solar System, as long as we can visually see home! Perhaps in the next hundred years humanity will be mining and travelling to the next stars, but much has to be discovered before we get there?

Covers a massive field?

We must always thank God for scientists who are finding cures and new techniques to improve surgery, drugs and fight cancers and other similar disease before they can get going in the human body!

Science today also covers cybernetics, with the introduction of the Polish skeletal suit that will help many to walk for the first time in their lives, this can only but advance and improve with time?

Lasers are nothing new, but robot technologies are to be soon introduced and with computing the internet and video links surgeons will be able to work from any part of the world!

There are many Christians working in these fields and many who praise God daily for His love and mercy, His grace to help them press on with new ideas and stand back in the amazement of His creation?

Machines Malfunction!

This has always been the case in relation to ideals on paper looking good but in reality for one reason or another the don’t work?

New Horizons and several other projects from telescopes to Mars rovers have proved a disappointment, but scientists have the habit of claiming they got enough data to make it worth the cost?

New Horizons perhaps should have just stayed in orbit around Pluto, since it is one of the most exciting worlds yet to be seen and a second probe head out for the Kuiper belt, such as those prior, Pioneer 1 and 2, Voyager 1 and 2?

False information and limited Abilities!

Sometimes one has to wonder about the makers of scientific programmes and when they are broadcast in the light that the information they contain are out of date?

What has been promised is now becoming limited, there are many great achievements that can be done and are being done, but past work is now proving to have side effects that were unforeseen!

Safeguards and precautions now have to put in place to protect people and research that it does not go beyond certain controlled limits? Some areas of DNA collecting still has connotations of the Nazi-Genetics plans of 1931-46 and Iceland claims that because of this research it has eliminated children born with mongrel conditions?

Dangers of it, now being Highlighted?

It would seem that there is a new debate about the dangers and the long term effects of Genetic manipulation! Science is waking up to those early findings of wonderment may now not be so great as they had once hoped for?

The problem with the DNA of humanity is that we are stained by the inherited condition of sin, we can never escape this condition in the physical, but only in the Spiritual of God entering our lives!

Many cancers have been cured and this is fantastic for those sufferers, but many new ones have started to appear! Its just the same with gardening or farming, weeds are nuisance and very hard to eradicate?

Just Machines!

Some are or have become concerned about the fast progress of todays robotics and the complex computing that they have been enabled with? The fear that humanity will be replaced by a machine is nothing new, but it has not yet happened!

A machine is a machine, clever computing power and programming may make it do some wonderful things? It may even one day have the limited capability to make its own logical choices, but these will not be a threat as claimed by many today!

Humans are far more different and complex from any Robot of any type yet built, because we have a soul and machines never will! We are made in the image and character of God, they may look and speak like us but they remain machines?

Demonic Forces!

Many people believe in ghosts and some believe in the need of deliverance of people possessed? This is the view of the world, we see it in the many programmes that cover the subject, movies and books?

The Bible tells us how Jesus was confronted daily in His three year ministry with evil, with the healing of children and many others seriously disturbed! Those demons who knew Jesus and they feared! They also identified themselves as Legion, a reference to the Roman Empire and how it was organised on demonic patterns!

Science and Astronomy are doing things that are immoral and without consultation from DNA to Stem cell research and transmitting messages to the stars, even 50,000 light years away? They fail to contemplate the dangers that what they are doing may be reckless?

The four Seasons!

What we think of humanity starting off as pagan in nature and worshiping the elements is a false idea that the various branches of science and thinking has formulated over the last two-hundred years.

Humanity left to its own devices always turns to oppose God, since we see this today in all Christian faiths in relation to wants over giving up to serve God!

The problem that many have with creation and the time periods, is that of the confusion caused by the flood! We cannot be fully sure about the time and the world prior to the flood between Adam and Noah? What is missed here is the advancement of humanity at a very extreme rate, such as we are today rushing forward in technology?

The seasons of this world, the Sun, Moon and Stars are all in place for human benefit and God’s pleasure. We have been given times to sow and to harvest and to give thanks to God! But humanity because of inherited sin, always seeks to rebel by bowing down to worship the elements over the creator!

Robotics Takeover?

Many leading scientists are now becoming concerned that technological advances in moder robotics are proceeding too fast and that we are in danger of allowing artificial intelligance to replace us humans.

Over the past one-hundred years there have been some amazing science-fiction story lines from Metropolis to the current Westworld, with Robo-cop and many Isaac Asimov ideas put on to the motion screen. They all cover the area of advanced robotics and the ultimate development of the Android-Humanoid.

We already employ robotics in s plethora of fileds, from medical scanners to auto-pilot and in the Space exploration and nuclear industry. Infact it was believed that the U.S. Airforce had developed a self thinking organic matter brain for its B-2 Bomber and F-117 Stealth fighters.
