Sin and Salvation. Part-Three.

The need for, Met.

When the ship is sinking or the plane falling from the sky the athiest cries out to God, ‘Save me! Why does that person do such a thing, when they say they do not believe in a God?

Why are the secular society meeting on a Sunday, when they are so oppsed to Christianity?

The reason for all of this is that broken relationship with God comes to the fore in our greatest time of need. We here everyday people say, ‘Oh God, and then go on to deny Him

This is time of the year when the credit runs our and the HP has to be paid off. Many find themselves in debts and fear sets in and God is sought for the moment?

Sin and Salvation. TWO.

Allure of the World.

Technology, sex, money, success these are all the promises that hold us down, making the heart proud and boastful. They hide the reality of our condition, fear, anger, greed, selfishness?

Much of these things today are again themselves covered up and justified by equality, our human rights! When we know that everything is a fabrication to keep us away from God.

The first steps to knowing God is prayer, in talking we will see our need to change our attitudes and then to make that break with the past and find a new relationship with His son Jesus, who died for us to buy us back to God.

Luke 15:11-14,  Psalm 25:11,  79:9,  143:11,  John 3:36,  1 Timothy 1:16,  1 John 5:11-17.

Knowing the Future. Part-Two.

HAPPY NEW YEAR.

We have a target to get to each New Year comes around to know that as believers we are now nearer to getting home to be with Jesus. We can always take a little time to reflect the past, but not to dwell on it for long.

As believers we know the future that the bible tells us about, but we must be re-assured to know that by faith we will run and win this race.

Luke 9:62,  2 Peter 3:12.
