EASTER, more than Chocolate!

We live more more in a world of lies and people telling untruths, that repeated day after day they become the truth?

Easter eggs are popular, like roses for St. Valentines and presents for Christmas, but the essential message is lost in the lure of Chocolate upon that of a promised Savior, of the love and compassion of God and the need for our saving so that we can return back into a personal relationship with our Father!

The choice is always ours to seek Him and come to faith in His death and rising from the dead, knowing that our past mistakes have been cast away, never to be remembered again?

There is no other religion that offers to us this type of relationship, only that of being a born-again believer!

Psalm 51:1-1. Isaiah 53:1-12, Amos 5:4, John 3:3, 14-21, Romans 6:22-23, 2 Corinthians 2:14-17, Hebrews 4:12-13, 9:26-27, 10:10, 15, Jude 1:6-7, Revelation 3:20.

Hearing the Truth. Two.

Stephen.

Stephen spoke the truth and for it he was attributed as the first Martyr of the Chistian Church!   Acts 7:1-60.

Today believers are still dying around the world, because we dare to speak the truth to a world full of selfies and selfishness? But we too were once blind and could not see this wonderful truth, this Love that God has for us?

1 Thessalonians 3:4.

Please do not stop speaking or sharing Jesus this season, because we do not know who will be chosen to join us soon at the Lords table to break bread and drink wine?

Matthew 12:18,  Romans 16:13,  1 Corinthians 10:16,   Colossians 3:12,   1 Peter 1:2.

The Good. Part-Three.

God’s Standards.

We all like to think we have done good and what is right and sometimes we can forget that God chose us because we were bad and not able to be good on any level. Many people who met Jesus thought of Him as a good man because of the healings and miracles that he was performing daily.

Another problem that plagues our thoughts is to see what we think is good works being carried out around the world and we are so easily lead to praise others, while forgetting to recognise the work of Jesus and believers leading thousands to faith and the promise of Eternal Salvation!

Luke 18:18,  John 5:41-44.

What in the World? Part-Two.

People do not like to hear that Israel is a chosen nation by God, they want to say that what is written in the bible is not true or it was written from their point of view.  Numbers 32:9-12.

The land was given to them and they lost it due to disobedience, but God always promised He would restore them one day. That day has come and all the events of history and human time will be played out in this region. Matthew 24 and 2 Thessalonians 2.

For believers we need not worry about these events.

But if we are not saved, then we do need to seek Jesus today.
