Christian Media!

Limited?

This is another of those, ‘Old, old story’s’ where Christian media is limited to what it can say and not say particularly in relation to Saudi-Arabia and the persecution if not death of believers!

This is because of arms sales to the kingdom from the U.S. and U.K. and the amounts of money generated? There are equally several other nations in the region and in the far-east where a similar policy is employed!

What is covered today even in our so called free western nations again must not upset the world, we are told to moderate and to compromise and many never bother anymore to question or challenge for truth, justice and moral being the secular humanists now dictate to us our agenda?

Numbers 14:9, Psalm 106:43, Proverbs 24:21, John 19:12, Titus 1:10.

Christianity silent on Slavery!

The problem with the Bible and the New Testament?

Slavery existed in Jesus day and so it continued past the death of the Apostle John about 100-110AD, in fact it still continues today in cheap labor, domestic servitude, sweat shops and voluntary work!

Many Christians employ some of the above mentioned without any qualms and thus they justify much sin, that excuses the world to not see much difference in claimed moral standards?

It is how we treat our workers that is the crucial fact in relation to a days wage that is fare or that we exploit them, believing they are part of our property and this is obvious in the many cults that still exist without challenge today in the mainstream Christian world!

Perhaps the best concept today of slavery and ownership is that of prostitution, since many are not free from being daily exploited men, woman and children and the access of the Internet?

Church & Anti-Semitism?

1931-40, Nazi-Germany and U.S./Britain Today!

German Christians seriously failed to recognise the signs of a rising Dictator in Adolf Hitler between 1931 and 1940, with the persecution of the Jewish population? But they only acted when they came under threat from his form of ecumenism and they then have since been seen to portray a peace loving angle, while dismissing the works of Carl Barth who saw what Hitler was back in 1933?

Today we have the madness of a traditional Christian in America stirring right-wing extremism and the British Labour party still not getting sorted out its own left-wing tendencies to draw a similarity between the State of Israel and Jewish people?

We need to be addressing important issues from many angles today in relation to the continued subconscious in the Christian mind that the Jews killed Jesus, when it was prophesied long ago that this was the only way that He could redeem the souls of all who believed in His death and resurrection!

Numbers 22:11-12,   Esther 3:2-11,   Psalm 137:1-6,   Isaiah 53:3-12,   John 3:3,  14-17,  Romans 3:21-31,  Hebrews 9:26-29.

The Conquest of Islam. Two.

Jesus will Prevail!

Much of what is claimed today by this enormous religion of their historical past, was the destruction by military force the establishment of 500 year-old Christian settlements around the world!

Excuses and cover-up is one of the many religious ideologies and some Christian movements such as the Spanish Inquisition and Papal denouncing of Galileo and De Vince stumped astronomy and science.

Believers will go and are going through daily hard times, from family, work, school, prison, retirement! It is hard, as it was for Jesus but we shall prevail and we know this because we have the truth of God in our hearts and minds!

Isaiah 59:17,  2 Corinthians 10:4,  Ephesians 6:17,  1 Thessalonians 5:8,   Titus 3:9.

Sin and Salvation. Part-Three.

The need for, Met.

When the ship is sinking or the plane falling from the sky the athiest cries out to God, ‘Save me! Why does that person do such a thing, when they say they do not believe in a God?

Why are the secular society meeting on a Sunday, when they are so oppsed to Christianity?

The reason for all of this is that broken relationship with God comes to the fore in our greatest time of need. We here everyday people say, ‘Oh God, and then go on to deny Him

This is time of the year when the credit runs our and the HP has to be paid off. Many find themselves in debts and fear sets in and God is sought for the moment?

2 Corinthians 6:2,  Isaiah 49:8,   Matthew 26:26-28,   Acts 2:23,   1 Corinthians 5:8,  Hebrews 3:13.

Mass Murder. Part-One.

The Crusades.

Human history has been built on the ability of people to kill each other, over the last two thousand years one Genocide after another has followed many in the name of religion.

Religion must be seperated from faith, religion is about keeping rituals and legalism! Where faith is about a personal relationship with Jesus and trusting God to provide.

The Christian Crusades of the Roman Catholic Church was the first attempt to unify Christian Europe, since the fall of the Roman Empire in 350AD. The Islamic Conquest of the Holy lands was the spark or the excuse to introduce the Apocalyptic end of the world. Instead it lead to the butchery of many Christians in Hungary wo refused an alliance with the Pope.

Jews living in Germany suffered the first Holocaust and fled to the russian steppes, while more ordinary, muslim and jewish folks were murdered in the name of Jesus in Jerusalem.

Deuteronomy 18:22,   Jeremiah 20:6,   John 10:33,   Galatians 5:16,    Ephesians 4:14.

True Martyrs.

‘So you want to be a Christian?

There are many people today who will be on their annual pilrimage to Church today and over this Christmas Season. But you will not see them, perhaps at Easter until next year!

People go to Church or fellowship for many reasons, religiosity, tradition, lonliness, the food ect.

But true believers go because we love jesus, who chose us and set us free from our sinful pasts. We are in a one to one relationship daily with Him, reading and trying to apply the bible, praying and seeking the lost all around us.

In turn we are rejected, hurt, opposed, persecuted, bullied, even threatened and intimidated by those who reject the truth. But we have to forgive them and press, because some of us were one like that too.

Psalm 98:2,  Matthew 11:28-30,  Acts7:60-8:1, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, 12.

The Ku Klux Klan. Part-Two.

Another Secret Society.

The KKK operate on the basis of being secret so that its murderers can hide under their hoods, very much like Islamic fanatics and many other criminal networks. The Klan claims it is a Protestant-Christian organisation and has a good pitch at trying to justify itself, making it very popular with a certain type of persons.

But like many other racist organisations ith has stepped in to the fatal error of not recognising their own sin and failure and the need to see that Jesus the King and Messiah of Jewish Israel died for all peoples. The Church is not about colour or race, it is about redemption from sins and moving on to serve God by self-sacrifice daily.

John 3:16-21,  1 Timothy 1:15-17.

Bara-Created. Part-Two.

Time Factor.

Many people today excuse the bible as a book of nothing more than a fantasy, because of its dating of history. The new religion of science can now prove ages and times! But this excepted fact may be wrong and the bible will be proved right.

The acknowledgement of God and facing up to human failure are the reality for most people when it comes to the Christian faith. Our God is of the impossible and of miracles, so we must not loose heart with this unbelieving world.   John 1:1-18.

My Valentine. Part-Two.

Practice.

We are at this day of romance and love, but in these islands and also in N-America many will not be able to get together tonight or even this weekend. Love is not all about meals, cars, romance and roses, especially when we who have faith in Jesus know it is much more.

Today and throughout the next few days we will have the opportunity to share the love of Jesus within us, with those around us. This may be in providing a free place of rest, someone to confide in, cooking meals and so it goes on.

We must not let ourselves be selfish in these acts, expecting a big thank you. Instead we must just do it not expecting anything in return.

Matthew 5,  5:40-48.
