Negative Reaction…

to Poverty?

We are living in bad times, where many profess a faith in God, but deny concern for the poor and those in distress!

Others are to comfortable to care and still others just look or walk the other way, rather than taking responsibility and being the ‘Good Samaritan?

But we have a God who does care and many of us who are indifferent now will be brought to account in relation to the matter!

Not all who are poor or in poverty got there because of lack of trying or being slack and we must not judge, but show a better way to the application of what it is really to be a believer in the death and rising of our Lord!

Proverbs 6:11, 10:4, 13:18, Luke 10:25-33, 2 Corinthians 8:9, Hebrews 4:12-13.

Faith & Love!

Hospitality?

As believers with in clergy or in everyday living, we always have the ability to share our faith, sometimes it can be very easy but for many it is very hard, because they lack confidence or fear offense from others!

But this should not be the excuse for doing nothing, when even a one word might be enough?

The world is crying out for God, despite what the media like to portray and the negativity of many presenters and journalist, people need help in relationships, marriages, money worries, loss of loved ones, disability, human rights more nearer to home, homelessness and many other issues with medical conditions and mental health!

We have a big Father in Heaven who care for us, if we would but put our trust in Him today?

Romans 11:14, James 5:20, 1 Peter 4:8-10, Revelation 3:20, 7:17.

Concerns For?

Converts from Islam and Hinduism!

It is never easy to become a believer in the death and resurrection of Jesus at anytime, but it is even harder for those coming out of Islam and Hinduism, despite the picture that these two religions like to portray the reality is far from the truth?

Hinduism is a religion of iconography and multiple gods and those who refuse to pull the line can be killed, where Islam bases all of its belief on the teaching of the Prophet Mohammed and not on the Holy Scriptures directly as Evangelical Christians do!

In this current British climate of hatred between the two communities, believers do feel more vulnerable to being attacked and one wonders if the Christian Church in the U.K. understands or is continuing to ignore issues that face their various ethnic communities for other things that are not a cost to them?

Deuteronomy 22:1-4, Acts 3:17, 4:29, Romans 6:22-23, Ephesians 6:10-18, 1 Timothy 4:1-5, 1 Peter 2:15, 4:12-19.

Understanding!

Listening and Hearing?

To be a true pastor of the sheep, we need to listen, hear clearly and understand what people are trying to say and where they are coming from!

Many Christians in leadership today many preach well, may attend many conferences or are invited to many meetings, but fail to care for their own flock in a right way?

People wither believing or unbelieving need help, situations occur in families, work and school if not other places where crime is high parents worry about their kids, even adults, mental health and housing along with benefit issues, that others coming from the middle-classes do not have to deal with so much!

Deuteronomy 1:13, Psalm 49:3, 20, Proverbs 2;2, Isaiah 11:2, Colossians 2:2, James 3:13, 1 Peter 3:7.

Pastoring!

The role of the Minister and all believers?

In the daily life of Ekklesia much is placed on those at the head to lead the members of the congregation, but we forget that ministering is a shared role and as believers we have much to offer in the comforting of friends within and outsiders too!

Organization and denomination must not be a block to encouragement, to comfort in pain, death and illness, since we are all of one family who have faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus our Lord while also knowing that we have ben forgiven our past failings and are free to Eternity, if we remain faithful and right with God?

Colossians 3:1-6, Matthew 16:23, John 11:25-26, Romans 6:2, Colossians 4:2-6.

Christian response to Ukraine?

U.S. Needs a United Europe!

This situation that is ongoing in Eastern-Europe is part of a larger agenda than the sovereignty of a nation, but rather that of unifying Europe as one entity and at that a Roman Catholic one, were other Christians would have no place!

The Ekklesia has been good in raising money and finding host families or has it, since now many Ukrainians are getting dumped on the streets like the unwanted Christmas puppy?

We are dealing here with people and different cultures, the Ukraine may claim to be European but its not western in its outlook and over time it is hoping to change Europe to suit its own right-wing ways?

Something that we need to be aware of and heed or it will be too late to get out of these false ideas that Russia is the big bad enemy, when it is not!

Psalm 81:12, Ezekiel 21:29, 2 Thessalonians 2:11, 1 Timothy 4:1.

Kindness?

Lacking even in Ekklesia?

We may tend to think this is an old fashioned term, but it is not and it is something more of we need today amongst all believers and in the world too!

Sometime we will meet nice people who will help us and there are still a few out there and not all are Christians, but they do the right thing, help pay at the till when we are short of money, give us a bit of petrol for the car when we have not enough and even help us with a breakdown at the side of the road?

We too may show the same kindness and be richly returned as mentioned above, this is what God wants for us to do, to do what His son did to live like Him and stop being selfish, indifferent and hating from hurts!

Romans 2:4, 12:8, 2 Corinthians 6:6, 9:9, Galatians 5:22, Colossians 3:12, 1 John 2:5-6.

Destiny of the Evil!

What the leadership of ministry is hiding Today?

The doctrine of love has covered up and is the attempt to mislead people on love covers a multitude of sins, without recognizing the fulness of the words of God in the Holy Bible!

One believes that many in the ministry are desperate to cover up sins and fool the rest of us into thinking that these new times are acceptable to God and we will all be alright?

But the Holy Bible does not always say pleasing things to us but warns that the dishonest and liars will loose their salvation, if they continue to sin after they were called out to the promised Salvation of their souls, when Jesus returns!

Revelation 21:8, 22:15, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Galatians 5:19-21, Ephesians 5:5, 1 Timothy 1:9-10, Hebrews 12:14-16.

Medicine and Politics!

Do not bode well together?

We are seeing it in the United States and Europe, but it is now a world problem as governments do not know how to handle this pandemic that is not going away!

Doctors have been ignored for some time and now they are no longer being seen, as incumbent leadership struggles to find answers with confusing messaging and much more lies?

God will be the final authority on the moral breakdown of society, the filth and greed of corrupt and dishonest leaders, who ignored compassion and love for others who thought more of themselves that the office they were responsible for!

Daniel 4:33, Acts 12:23, Ephesians 4:22, James 5:2.

Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey!

Crisis Looming?

Unwanted Syrian refugees released by Turkey to closed European borders and now mass rioting and illegal actions by desperate nations that feel abandoned by Brussels?

We can sit comfortably in our Christian home and not care or pray perhaps things like homelessness on our own streets will by magic be eradicated so we don’t have to dirty our hands with the misfortunate?

A new war is looming in the Middle-East as the west justifies using Islamic state, but will not take our own back and the pressure on Turkey is tremendous for Ataturk-II to send these unwanted people to Mummy Merkle and Europe!

What will be our response, perhaps now the fear of Coronavirus has replaced another terror attack or caring for others, nothing new under the sun of modern Christianity then???

Deuteronomy 7:23,   Psalm 40:2,   Jeremiah 3:23,   Matthew 13:16,   Acts 21:34.   James 1:2.
