Concerns For?

Converts from Islam and Hinduism!

It is never easy to become a believer in the death and resurrection of Jesus at anytime, but it is even harder for those coming out of Islam and Hinduism, despite the picture that these two religions like to portray the reality is far from the truth?

Hinduism is a religion of iconography and multiple gods and those who refuse to pull the line can be killed, where Islam bases all of its belief on the teaching of the Prophet Mohammed and not on the Holy Scriptures directly as Evangelical Christians do!

In this current British climate of hatred between the two communities, believers do feel more vulnerable to being attacked and one wonders if the Christian Church in the U.K. understands or is continuing to ignore issues that face their various ethnic communities for other things that are not a cost to them?

Deuteronomy 22:1-4, Acts 3:17, 4:29, Romans 6:22-23, Ephesians 6:10-18, 1 Timothy 4:1-5, 1 Peter 2:15, 4:12-19.

Twenty Years after 9/11!

Over four-hundred of the 3000 who died were British.

Many families of British troops lost in the last twenty years in Afghanistan, have said what was it for?

Well the U.S. bombed the Tora-Bora complex and destroyed the largest terror base ever, they eventually found Bin-Laden in Pakistan and great advantages were made in fields that the media did not cover!

What is our response to be to the worst known one off terror event in human history, to remember the British financiers and visitors who died in the twin towers on that day and the 400+ soldiers who died in Afghanistan doing their job!

One does not join an army to choose where they go, one goes were they are told and so we who have faith are armed for the warfare that we must face daily both in the physical and Spiritual and endure it?

More believers have died in the past twenty years world-wide for just believing in Jesus, than perhaps all the conflicts put together and we will eventually meet all of them when we get home to Heaven!

+The Conquest of Islam. One.

We have the Truth?

This is the truth of Islam today that is being fought out in its new form by ISIS/ISIL-Al-Quaida, they believe the end is near and the Infidel must be destroyed if they refuse to convert?

There are two aspects to Islam that try to disprove the Bible, one is that the Abrahamic promises come through Ishmael, rather than Isaac? The second is that Muhammed is the last Prophet of revelation to humanity?

What Islam fears is the freedom of the Christian faith, that God gave the world Jesus His son and through Jesus final atonement offers unconditional love to the repentant sinner along with mercy and forgiveness!

History. Part-One.

Conflicts and Wars.

This is a part of the human condition Sin, it leads us to do what we want to without considering the outcome at a later point. Humanity has always had the problem of disagreements from the family tiff to political, religious rows. Usally someone has offered their services of mediations and this has calmed the situation down.

But as we have seen on our televisons recently many lands are going through various phases of Revoloutions, with horrible violence. It is almost always the woman and children that suffer in these situations. Apart from the Arab Spring, the world is seening rioting and terror in Venuzuela, Thailand, Bosnia, Turkey and now the Ukraine.

Many of these conflicts have a deep rooted Sectarianism to them, which the Media is desperatly trying to hide from us with other names. Despite all of this as believers in Jesus, we have to push on through showing no favoritism. Instead we need to pray for a resolve quicly and a restoration of elected government.

War. Part-Three.

Human Nature.

People cannot help anger and hateing each other, they find excuses to start a row over nothing. on a domestic scale this can become bad enough, but on larger global scale it will lead to war and conflicts. A third party can help to resolve any situation, but then the hardness of our stubborness sets in to block off the mediation.

Wars are caused by the inherent Sin and selfishness of the human heart a condition that does not even leave those who have faith in God. But to have faith in God and a personal relationship does help us to see our own faults and ask the lord to help us, intead of ignoring or denying in the first place.

Immigration. Part-Two.

‘Why and Where?

There are many reasons why people leave their country of birth and go to a far away land. Persecution is probably the main reason, after that famine, natural disasters and last of all economic crises.

We tend to for get that at one time most of the countries in Europe had colonial empires, which explored the unknown world and then exploited resources, and people in to slavery.  The bible tells us about many nations ans peoples moving from place to place. Abraham and Moses were traveling great distances in their day.

Genesis 21:34,    Exodus 3:12,    Jeremiah 41:14-16,    Revelation 18:13.
