The power of the Cross!

Repent and be Saved/Delivered?

Is Easter still relevant in the nations of the world today, or has it been replaced by the God of feelings in love?

False teachings and doctrines are replacing the truth, but God’s truth will remain and many will continue to preach and teach it in a world that is worsening in their collective deafness to hear it?

Millions are on the broad way to Hell, because they refuse the truth, but many others are being saved in surprising places and the power of the cross is very much a focus in everyday life!

1 Corinthians 1:17-18, Galatians 6:14, Ephesians 2:16, Philippians 2:8, Colossians 2:14, Hebrews 12:2.

WOKE Revisionism and Humanitarian Covenants!

Believers are entering darker times?

We are daily bombarded by the WOKE media that is giving a wrong impression to us of the German Nazi Holocaust and in it transferring terms to cover other conflicts, this form of revisionism is a deliberate attempt to blur the truths of history and take away from the Jewish people to justify the situation in the Ukraine that is trying to turn back time!

Meanwhile a unity covenant is to be implemented with the Church of Rome to work together in helping the poor, but this cannot happen since we Protestants believe in one sacrifice for our failings and not that of the continual shedding of Jesus blood in the Mass?

Exodus 23:1, 2 Kings 17:15, Psalm 33:17, Matthew 7:15, Hebrews 9:26-27, 10:10, 2 Peter 3:16.

Fire, fruit and Pruning! One.

The role of the Holy Spirit in the believers New Life?

When we are born again of the final atonement of Jesus death on the cross and resurrection on the third day from the grave, because of our faith and repentance we individually receive the Holy Spirit!

First there is an inner fire, a flame of mixed passion and compassion for the lost around us, family and friends! We are eager with share our testimony and witness our faith and from this comes fruit, but we have also been given fruit the ability to use these divine and spiritual resources?

Then when we have learned how to use these gifts, we also will learn how to prune back the elements that are not profitable, so that all may be refined to start afresh and press on?

John 15:1-16,   Acts 2:3,   1 Corinthians 3:13,   12:6-30,   Galatians 5:22,    Jude 1:23.

The Darkness. One.

Exodus and Easter.

God made His presence known on these two important occasions of deliverance for His people Israel from their slavery in Egypt and for our individual deliverance by Jesus shedding of blood on the cross/stake/tree for our sins!

God in His character is not dark, but rather pure light, truth and holiness and without sin, but we are told something of that dwelling place that we can never enter and that is a place of darkness!

This time of the year should be one of reflection on our own calling and salvation, while also hoping and praying for those lost around us that they might see the light that Jesus offers and turn to Him in confession and repentance of their own failures, seeking His forgiveness?

Genesis 1:2,   Exodus 10:21-22,   2 Samuel 22:10-12,   Psalm 18:11,   Matthew 27:45.

Take Heed. Part-Two.

‘I Want?

Temporary pleasure is not worth loosing out on the Eternal joy of a personal relationship with Jesus? We are a bought or purchased people, by the offering of the blood of Jesus for our remission of past sins!

Jesus blood was not a transfusion life giving blood, it was being accused on false charges an innocent perfect man and being beaten so that His back was like a ploughed field! All this was before being nailed to the cross, between two men who were murderers!

So when we desire or we want, we need to stop and think again on the cost that our Lord paid for us? So that we do not throw away those pears to swine for a moments pleasure and the filth that is an abomination to God our Father?

Psalm 147:3,  Isaiah 53:5-6,  Matthew 5:20,  Romans 6:22,  2 Corinthians 6:17,  Ephesians 5:9.

Christmas?

God’s Love for Us!

People today are seeking most of all Love, this is their claim and they are finding it in all the wrong places? Materialism, wealth, decadance, and sexuality, they calim to have found it and at the cost of those who lost out?

But God’s love came into our world two-thousand years ago as a free gift in the baby Jesus! Humanity has constantly rejected the love of Jesus, thirty-three years after His birth they hung Him on a cross and jeered at Him!

What is Christmas all about? It is about applying this love that many claim that they have in Jesus? It is one of the times of the year when we have the oppertunity to put it into action?

John 3:15-21,  32-36,   James 2:18-22,  1 John 1:7-10.

Hearing the Truth. One.

Jesus came into the World!

It is only those who have heard and accepted the truth of Jesus words in relation to their need of Salvation, that receive the promises of Eternity with Him!

It is one thing to say that God sent His son into the world out of love, yes He did! But this does not mean that we continue in our sins after we come to know the Lord as many people today have ben deluded into believing?

It was thirty-three years after Jesus’ birth and hours before the cross, that  Pilate spoke the prophetic truth of who Jesus was and what role He had come into the world to achieve!

Mark 1:15,   Isaiah 9:9, 53:1-2,  4-7,   Luke 2:11,   John 18:37,   Acts 2:36-38.

Death and Resurrection. Part-One.

Destiny.

Jesus knew from before He was born in human flesh to the Virgin Mary, that He was destined to die. This is because He was the promised Messiah, first to His own race Israel and then to all in the world who would believe by faith in His works.  Luke chapter 2.

Jesus made it a point to tell His Disciples that he was going up to Jerusalem and on the third day He would arise from the grave.  Matthew 16:21, 17:23, 20:19, Luke 9:22, 13:32, 18:33.

Jesus had to shed His blood, for without blood there can be no removal of sin. Jesus was the perfect man who did not sin, co that He fulfilled the Jewish legal requirements. Hebrews 9:22.

Conception. Part-Three.

The Cross and the Crib.

We must not let it slip by that Jesus was born to die, He was the final sacrifice for Sin and His death and resurrection would do away with the need of the Temple sacrifices.

Mary was told about these events after Jesus was circumcised in the Jerusalem Temple by two old folks whom God had allowed to see the Messiah of Israel and the Savior of the World.

Simeon and Annah had waited a long time, but because of their devotion to God in a godless and near pagan nation.

Luke 2:21-39,  1 Corinthians 1:23,  Hebrews 12:1-3,  1 Peter 4:14.
