The Bible. Part-One.

A unique book.

There is no other book like the bible, that is why it remains the best seller ever. For believers it is our road map to daily living and to having faith in a living God, through His Son Jesus our savior.

The bible tells us about our condition, it tells us what no Doctor can tell us. The bible tells us about the past, the present and the future, it is book of moral codes, dietery advice, it deals with family problems, selfishness, delivereance, healing and science.

in fact the bible in one way or another deals with every condition and circumstances that we will face in life. So my advice to you is read it, seek God and repent of your failure to Him in prayer in a quite and secret place and the God of this book will change your Life.

DNA and Inheritance. Part-One.

The fascination of Genetics.

It is indeed a fascinating world to see what each one of us is made up of or what we have inherited from our parents. The medical world can now predict what each one of us will die of! Genetics also tell us who we are and where we have come from in our racial identity.

But what as yet DNA cannot do is identify the strand that reveals our self, our free will to choose between good and bad and what the bible terms as Sin.

There are many good things that humanity have achieved in the last 200 years, but temper, anger and hate and that to murder, kill, exploit remains in the hands of God and the choices of us to seek and follow Him.

Genesis 4:7, 18:20, Job 2:10, Psalm 4:4, Proverbs 5:22.

Death and Resurrection. Part-Three.

Jesus Family.

When we come to the events that are part of our Easter celebrations, we tend to forget that Jesus’ family were with Him and around about. His earthly mother Mary was at the cross/stake/tree and rushing to the tomb on the morning of His resurrection.

Jesus had two new believers that are mentioned at the cross, the thief and the Roman soldier. On that first Easter morning many female followers came to that empty tomb, some saw Angels, others a bright light and a few Jesus arisen from the grave.

Matthew 27:55-56, 61, 28:3-6,  Mark 15:40, 47, 16:1-9,  Luke 24:1-10,  John 19:25, 20:1-11, 16, 18.

What or where will you be this coming Easter Sunday? Still in your sin, full of the world or will you have the faith to repent and believe in these Good works of Jesus, who has made final atonement for you and join the family of Ekklesia and the promise of Eternal Salvation!

Death and Resurrection. Part-One.

Destiny.

Jesus knew from before He was born in human flesh to the Virgin Mary, that He was destined to die. This is because He was the promised Messiah, first to His own race Israel and then to all in the world who would believe by faith in His works.  Luke chapter 2.

Jesus made it a point to tell His Disciples that he was going up to Jerusalem and on the third day He would arise from the grave.  Matthew 16:21, 17:23, 20:19, Luke 9:22, 13:32, 18:33.

Jesus had to shed His blood, for without blood there can be no removal of sin. Jesus was the perfect man who did not sin, co that He fulfilled the Jewish legal requirements. Hebrews 9:22.

False Teachers. Part-Two.

Deniers.

They key to knowing a false Christian is that they do not believe that Jesus was both man and God. They believe that He was atotally devine being and this is how they try to delude you. They will also play on the idea that Jesus did not really die and that His wounds since His resurrection have now healed.

All of these beliefes and teachings are contary to what the bible says, on other occasions these deniers will place an emphasis on a certain version of the bible. But we must understand that our bibles are made of of Hebres, Aramaic and Greek scripts and most translations use differents words. But they generally try their best to keep to the original meanings.

Matthew 10:33,   Luke 12:9,   Acts 3:13-14,    2 Timothy 2:12-13,    Jude 1:4,    Revelation 2:13,    3:8.

Resurrection. Part-Two.

500 Witnesses.

For many people it is very hard to believe that a man who has died can be brought back to life?

Today medicine has shown us that people can be resussated, but for Jesus He did, He had to die and rise to set us who believe from the curse of death.

Effectivley death could not hold Him, we see Thomas not believing and then seeing the holes for himself.

But the resurrection of Jesus was not limited to a few people, over five hundred people saw and met Him.

Matthew 28:16-20,  John 20:26-29,  21:1-3,  Acts 1:3-8,  1 Corinthians 15:5-7.

Resurrection. Part-One.

He has Arisen.

As he said that He would on the third day.

This for us is our power and strength in the New Life, that we will live everyday from now on, but not everyone believes this happened.

They have filled their minds with all sorts of ideas to try to disprove the truth.

Matthew 16:21,  Mark 10:33-34,  Luke 9:22, 44.

The origins of these lies started when it was reported by the guards at the tomb in the gardenm that the stone had been rolled away and His body was gone.

The authorities of the day paid the guards to spread lies and this type of activity continues today not just in these matters, but also in science and many other areas to spread false information and data to suite various agendas of man.

Matthew 28:16.

Crown of Thorns. Part-Two.

Nailed on the Cross for Us.

This is the final act of atonement, Jesus is nailed on the tree/stake/cross for us. He has taken our Sin and failure upon His own body and if we believe in Him by faith, we to are set free from death through His Resurrection.

Jesus died as much for Israel as He died for the world, His death opened a new covenant for all who would believe in Him.

There is no other way to be saved, this easter please consider these matters and make the right choices to give your life to Him?

To be a believer in Jesus is much more than going to Church, it is not about keeping rules, instead it is about pleasing God and being obediant to His word the bible. it is the beginning of a New Life.

Matthew 27:35,   Mark 15:20,   Luke 23:33,    John 19:18,   Romans 6:6,    1 Corinthians 2:8,   Hebrews 12:2.

His Story. Part-Two.

The Holy Bible.

As believers in the death, resurrection and return of Jesus, the Messiah and King of Israel the Perfect man who was wounded for us. We have a book about how to live life and please  the God who has saved us from Eternal damnation. God has laid out in this book that we call the Holy bible human history, from the beginning to the end.

The book tells us what God wants from us and what He does not approve of, this is called Sin. Though we may be saved, we still will have problems with sinning, but we can call on His Son Jesus to help us.

God’s story is hard, but it will be fulfilled or completed in His way and time and man in all his cleverness will not be able to stop it.

This week there are no scripture, because you must read it for your self.
