The NEW LIFE?

Remembering Jesus!

It is tough to be a follower of Jesus and that is perhaps why many give up and waste their time sitting in fellowship doing nothing or just praying?

This time of the year Easter should be one of reflection to see what Jesus has done for us and the reasons and cost behind it all, that we are saved, reconciled, loved from the coming wrath of God Almighty!

So as we enjoy our Easter eggs let us remember and get back on track with Him in serving within and sharing outside?

John 3:3, 16, 4:23-24, Romans 3:25-26, 5:8-11. Hebrews 4:12-23, 9:26-27, Jude 1:6-7.

EASTER, more than Chocolate!

We live more more in a world of lies and people telling untruths, that repeated day after day they become the truth?

Easter eggs are popular, like roses for St. Valentines and presents for Christmas, but the essential message is lost in the lure of Chocolate upon that of a promised Savior, of the love and compassion of God and the need for our saving so that we can return back into a personal relationship with our Father!

The choice is always ours to seek Him and come to faith in His death and rising from the dead, knowing that our past mistakes have been cast away, never to be remembered again?

There is no other religion that offers to us this type of relationship, only that of being a born-again believer!

Psalm 51:1-1. Isaiah 53:1-12, Amos 5:4, John 3:3, 14-21, Romans 6:22-23, 2 Corinthians 2:14-17, Hebrews 4:12-13, 9:26-27, 10:10, 15, Jude 1:6-7, Revelation 3:20.

The power of the Cross!

Repent and be Saved/Delivered?

Is Easter still relevant in the nations of the world today, or has it been replaced by the God of feelings in love?

False teachings and doctrines are replacing the truth, but God’s truth will remain and many will continue to preach and teach it in a world that is worsening in their collective deafness to hear it?

Millions are on the broad way to Hell, because they refuse the truth, but many others are being saved in surprising places and the power of the cross is very much a focus in everyday life!

1 Corinthians 1:17-18, Galatians 6:14, Ephesians 2:16, Philippians 2:8, Colossians 2:14, Hebrews 12:2.

EASTER! Two.

‘What is Truth?

Many people today no longer bother with the truth, they live or exist in a world of lies and selfish want?

So we learn that it was the same in the Roman Empire, people were out for themselves and truth had no place or very little?

Jesus offered Pilate salvation, Jesus revealed his purpose for coming, but Pilate failed to comprehend and thus refused!

But he still knew that Jesus was an innocent man and that the religious leaders had Pilate in their pocket, so he rationalised to please them but other wise he was left doubting for the many years to come?

This salvation is still available and is waiting for all who will trust today!

John 3:11, 18:37-38, 1 John 3:19-20, Revelation 3:20.

Preaching the Truth?

Homosexuals Christians who justify Sin!

We are living in difficult times, where a man made disease is wiping out vulnerable people and surprising science in that it does not discriminate?

Easter is a great opportunity to preach the good news of Jesus death and resurrection and the truth of God’s love for humanity and His wrath to the consequences of our failure!

Being gay and claiming to be a Christian just does not tally with the Holy Bible, God id for the gay but not for the sin of sexual relations and twisted emotions! Many Church people have always sought to justify child abuse and cover that by reducing the age of consent to cover over a multitude of abuses?

Today Hell is a dirty word as much as Judgement and living in a man and woman  relationship or being celibate, there are many other areas that need to be covered in lying, diddle one income tax, avoiding certain bill and encouraging other to do or leading them into sin!

Matthew 5:22,   29-30,   Romans 3:6,   1 Corinthians 2:13,   2 Timothy 4:1,   Titus 3:2,   9,  Hebrews 12:23,    2 Peter 2:4,   Revelation 18:8.

EASTER!

Death and New Life?

Currently the world is really in some dire straights over this Pandemic and very little news is being made about a vaccine or a cure, it seems we will just have to pan it out and see the death toll rise?

Easter is a story about hope, but is also about our need of personal salvation! Many people refuse to face the truths that many past scientists were believers, as many are today and the wrong ideas give the wrong impression?

It is easy to believe that Jesus died, a good man, one who was a Prophet and cared for the people of His day? That idea is a false one, since Jesus was the Son of God, the Messiah King of Israel and the Saviour of the world!

A Saviour for all who by faith will believe that He has forgiven us our sins by His blood shed in the final atonement for sin and that His rising from the dead promises to us the Eternal Life of a fully assured Salvation!

The world is dying around us and we need to be telling people this Easter that God loves them and they must turn to Him for Salvation based on believing that only God can do the impossible!

Psalm 66:5,   95:1,  Amos 5:4,   John 3:3,   7-9,   14-18,   4:22,   Romans 6:22-23,   2 Corinthians 6:2,   7:10,   Hebrews 11:1-5,   James 3:16,   Jude 1:3.

The EASTER Story?

Relevance for TODAY!

many people are fed up with religion they see that it is the cause of much conflicts in the world today? But this is only an excuse because religion is not the problem, but the sin or failed choices of the hearts of individual people!

So much anti-Jesus is written today as intellectuals rely on the new religion of science to prove everything as factual, when much of the theory is conjecture and has no basis?

The historical facts related to Jesus exist, if we are prepared to look for them, but on the other hand Easter has as much to do with faith an area of the mind and the heart that science does not perceive yet it bangs on about the emotions of needing love to care for our decaying world?

John 3:3,   31-36,   Acts 13:38,   26:18,   Romans 6:22-23,   1 Corinthians 15:55,   Ephesians 1:7,   Colossians 1:14,   1 John 5:4.

The Darkness. Two.

Risen from the Dead!

It is still hard for many believers who accept that Jesus has died for their failure to then believe that the Man-God rose from the dead on the third day?

The challenge of faith is to believe in the impossible and then apply it, this is much more than just trusting it is proving God to be true to His word!

Without the resurrection, there can be no Salvation, no overcoming the sting of death and no entering into the promised New Life! Over five-hundred people witnessed Jesus in Israel between His rising on the third day and His Ascension back to heaven!

John 11:25,   Acts 10:39,   Philippians 3:10,   Hebrews 11:1-3,  1 Peter 1:23.

The Darkness. One.

Exodus and Easter.

God made His presence known on these two important occasions of deliverance for His people Israel from their slavery in Egypt and for our individual deliverance by Jesus shedding of blood on the cross/stake/tree for our sins!

God in His character is not dark, but rather pure light, truth and holiness and without sin, but we are told something of that dwelling place that we can never enter and that is a place of darkness!

This time of the year should be one of reflection on our own calling and salvation, while also hoping and praying for those lost around us that they might see the light that Jesus offers and turn to Him in confession and repentance of their own failures, seeking His forgiveness?

Genesis 1:2,   Exodus 10:21-22,   2 Samuel 22:10-12,   Psalm 18:11,   Matthew 27:45.

Crown of Thornes. Part-Three.

Darkness fell and people were saved.

What a day is Good Friday, today Jesus died for you and me. He chose by His own free will to be nailed to the tree for us.

Today two thousand years ago darkness came over Israel, there were strange events. But depite all this things, two men who were not worthy of God’s mercy were saved today.

The theif on the cross and the Roman soldier, who was standing guard. A murderer and a man who helped nail Jesus up.

What are you going to do with your masked existance this Easter?

Matthew 27:51-55,  Mark 15:38,  Luke 23:45.
