NO GOD.

‘I don’t believe in God,’

This is the most common answer that you will get today, if you ask people in the western world in relation to God and religion. But these same people do have trust in people and in materialism?

The bible tells us that unbelief is nothing new, the fool said, that there is no God. Simple people have no time for God, because they are so full of themselves. it is perhaps a sofeter wording for the wicked and evil who only think of themselves.

But Jesus still accepts us wither we are good living, religious or evil minded. If we are prepared to admit to Him our failure, seek His ways and follow His son Jesus then we enter into His family.

The problems with…

Today the world is full of growing new cities that are starting to have as many problems as they had in the past. The bigger a town gets, there is more of a problem with sanitation, a rise in diseases and today pollution from the burning of fossil fuels.

Overcrowding is one of the causes of infections and diseases to spread and in the past, apart from natural disasters many cities failed and where abandoned.

Humanity does not seem to have been able to learn from those past mistakes? if this is not possible in relation to these matters, it just proves the same with moral codes, the breakdown of society that is all linked to Sin.

2016…

‘Seasons Greetings and a Happy New Year.’

For many believers Christmas is still to come in the days of this month.

It is traditional to open the year thanking God for helping us get through the last one and bring us peace and prosperity in this New one.

But what God really wants from us, is to our failure and our real need of Him in freindship and a personal relationship. Just us and Him, with nothing in between.

For some this may be seen as a tall order and yet Jesus disciples did, so why can’t we?

When man began to Dwell. Part-Three.

Inheritance.

One would like to think that after the flood, humanity would have learned a thing or two. But sadly they grew in numbers again and fell into the same sins, which they had inherited from those eight survivors of year 601.

They descided to get together and build that tower, that they knew would lead to their confusion by God and being spread out from each other across the Earth. But they still went ahead with their plans, and this is a warning to the world today that it is heading for destruction. Not by water as scientists claim, but by fire as the bible says.

Genesis 11:1,  3,  8, 2 Peter 3:7.

Bara-Created. Part-Two.

Time Factor.

Many people today excuse the bible as a book of nothing more than a fantasy, because of its dating of history. The new religion of science can now prove ages and times! But this excepted fact may be wrong and the bible will be proved right.

The acknowledgement of God and facing up to human failure are the reality for most people when it comes to the Christian faith. Our God is of the impossible and of miracles, so we must not loose heart with this unbelieving world.   John 1:1-18.

Bara-Created. Part-One.

God Created.

Only God can create, we have seen it mentioned in this blog by me time and again. Man copies what already exists, he cannot create life. Humanity can design and plan, cars, machines, houses, structures, rockets, spaceships, robotic engineering and that is it.

God made the world, the universe and man in His time period, not that of the ideas of science and theory. That is perhaps hard to grasp for some people who are more afraid of Christianity, because they do not want to see their own failures and selfishness.

Genesis 1:1, 27, Revelation 10:6.

DNA and Inheritance. Part-Two.

Manipulation.

DNA profiling has been for the last thirty years a breakthrough in the detection of crime and terrorism, but it has now proved that it can be very easly manipulated. This has lead to many recent cases in the last 10 years being reviewed, as they may have been falsified.

Like everything that is good, there has to be a negative or bad side, this is the smae with inherited failure. People try to be good and they set up human ideas to improve themselves, but eventually something of that weaker side will reveal it self.

Turning to god is the only way to be forgiven that failure and we in relationship also have someone who is greater to turn to in our hour or moment of need.

Proverbs 11:28, 28:13, Jeremiah 17:18, 1 Corinthians 12:6, 1 Peter 5;5.

Out of Africa. Part-One.

EBOLA.

Originaly known as Marburg disease, because of medical experiments with green monkeys in Germany in the 1950’s. It is believed that this virilant virus originates from the monkeys mentioned above and fruit bats, which can both be eaten in west-Africa.

Forty years ago the Aids epidemic was also blaimed on African sexual behaviour, but this has since been proved not the case. Over four thousand people have now died and the world is startining to wake up to about 5 deaths in the west.

The bible tells us that God will send plagues against peoples and the nations for their sin, both in the past and on the future. We must not judge Africa, but rather look at ourselves and our own nations first.

Psalm 105, Revelation 16.

The Good. Part-Three.

God’s Standards.

We all like to think we have done good and what is right and sometimes we can forget that God chose us because we were bad and not able to be good on any level. Many people who met Jesus thought of Him as a good man because of the healings and miracles that he was performing daily.

Another problem that plagues our thoughts is to see what we think is good works being carried out around the world and we are so easily lead to praise others, while forgetting to recognise the work of Jesus and believers leading thousands to faith and the promise of Eternal Salvation!

Luke 18:18,  John 5:41-44.

The Good. Part-Two.

‘Only One who is Good.’

We are no good, man, humanity are all failures!

God the Almighty, Creator and Sustainer is the only One who remains Eternaly Good. God is perfect and if we have the faith to believe, seek His forgiveness by repenting  of our wrong, mistakes, failure He is the God that will save us.

Salvation is promised and it is our hope, but we must try not to continue on as we are. We must change and be a New people enjoying the New Life that He has given to us.

Matthew 19:17,   Romans 6:22-23.
