The Good? Part-One.

The Rich Man.

Asked Jesus a questions about wanting to be Saved. He called Jesus a Good man, but Jesus said to him, ‘Who is good, but only God’.

This shows us that we are all failures, Sinners and it is only God who is without sin.

Humans find it really hard to admit that they have failed, so they continue on hiding their shame.

Mark 10:18,   Romans 3:23-26.

A Warning for our Nation. Part-Two.

A Failure to Act.

Christians go to Church every Sunday, they hear many different kinds of sermons some are good and informative and there is plenty to take away. And yet other are weak and watery, with nothing gained.

Meanwhile it is each one of us who listens or not, because we are either half in the world or a believer hearing the wrong messages.

In fifty years from now there may be big changes in our societies and Christians will be challenged by others, ‘Why did you not act, when you claimed to be the people of the word?

Revelation 10:7,  11:18.

A Warning for our Nation. Part-One.

A Failure to Hear.

Many believers and nominal Christians today are questioning and wondering ‘What is happening with the changes in the Law and the failure to question or be heard by government and Administrations?

Perhaps the answers are in the failure in the near past to hear what God was saying and to react to it!

Jeremiah 26:4-5.

Crown of Thorns. Part-Two.

Nailed on the Cross for Us.

This is the final act of atonement, Jesus is nailed on the tree/stake/cross for us. He has taken our Sin and failure upon His own body and if we believe in Him by faith, we to are set free from death through His Resurrection.

Jesus died as much for Israel as He died for the world, His death opened a new covenant for all who would believe in Him.

There is no other way to be saved, this easter please consider these matters and make the right choices to give your life to Him?

To be a believer in Jesus is much more than going to Church, it is not about keeping rules, instead it is about pleasing God and being obediant to His word the bible. it is the beginning of a New Life.

Matthew 27:35,   Mark 15:20,   Luke 23:33,    John 19:18,   Romans 6:6,    1 Corinthians 2:8,   Hebrews 12:2.

Easter. Part-Two.

Failure.

Many of the Disciples of Jesus believed that they could follow Him any where. Peter boasted about it, but Jesus warned him that he would deny him three times.  Matthew 26:31-35,  Mark 14:27-31,  Luke 22:31-34,  John 13:36-38.

We can all make claims to what we believe in, but when it has to cost us something, fear of man sets in and we all run away. Mark 14:50-51, John 18:15-18, 25-27.

This was just the beginning of a series of events that are part of the Easter Story, all of this was in the will of God.

Love and Marriage. Part-Two.

Not everyone will marry.

Marriage is not for everyone, some cannot, others it just never happens and some may have committed to a vow of Celibacy, for many varied reasons. Others like their own company. God is loving and merciful and understands each individual  situation.

But God does not tolerate selfish ambitions and rebellion towards Him. Evil may continue on the earth for now, but one day all people, both the saved and the lost will have to give Him an account.

We may laugh at God and the Bible now and mock, but if we do not repent, change our mental attitudes towards Jesus and His sacrifice for our Sin and failure, we will be eternally cut off from God’s presence.

Deuteronomy 23:18,  Matthew 7:6,  1 Corinthians 6:9,  Galatians 5:19,  Luke 16:19-31,  Revelation 22:15.

Our Inheritance. Part-Two.

Failure.

I suppose you could say that failure is Sin, but failure does carry the reality of the condition we suffer from. Failure is humanities terminal illness, with no cure.  John 8:34, 16:9.

God is merciful, that is one of His many attributes. God has been so merciful to humanity, that He sent his one and only son Jesus into the world to save us. Salvation for eternity and heaven come from our trusting in Jesus now, today. we must believe that he died for us, and rose from the dead on the third day.  John 3:16-21, Mark 15:21-32,  Mark 16:1-11, Phillippians 2:5-11.
