The NEW LIFE?

Remembering Jesus!

It is tough to be a follower of Jesus and that is perhaps why many give up and waste their time sitting in fellowship doing nothing or just praying?

This time of the year Easter should be one of reflection to see what Jesus has done for us and the reasons and cost behind it all, that we are saved, reconciled, loved from the coming wrath of God Almighty!

So as we enjoy our Easter eggs let us remember and get back on track with Him in serving within and sharing outside?

More problems 4 Ekklesia?

OMICRON!

This is believed to be the fifteenth mutation of SAR’s-COV-2/COVID-19 Delta, now identified and having the same tests done again by world medical facilities into B.1.1.529, since we cannot take the word of South-African scientists?

So far world leaders are not saying much and those who do get the sack, meanwhile it is not clear if Christmas will be cancelled, as some leaders told lies about the awful struggle people and believers had to go through last year!

Only God knows the heart and motives of human beings, we can but guess and hopefully not judge others who do not come up to our own standards!

Kindness?

Lacking even in Ekklesia?

We may tend to think this is an old fashioned term, but it is not and it is something more of we need today amongst all believers and in the world too!

Sometime we will meet nice people who will help us and there are still a few out there and not all are Christians, but they do the right thing, help pay at the till when we are short of money, give us a bit of petrol for the car when we have not enough and even help us with a breakdown at the side of the road?

We too may show the same kindness and be richly returned as mentioned above, this is what God wants for us to do, to do what His son did to live like Him and stop being selfish, indifferent and hating from hurts!

Fire, fruit and Pruning! Two.

Our accountability and Responsibility?

Our relationship with God, through Jesus is part of the New Life that we have entered into, but this is a two way friendship and not a material or spiritual reliance! We ask and God will just keep giving more and more, we too have a role to play in serving, worshipping, praying and witnessing our faith to others?

The worlds ways today have invaded the Church in many ways, that has allowed believers to be excused of many areas? These areas cover the practical side of concern, activity and friendship without bias, and one has to wonder why the numbers are going down!

Fellowship or mixing in some more traditional congregations is failing because of racism, class, respectability and even dress, we have become self appointed judges? Instead of looking out for peoples problems and trying to help each other at cost!

Genesis 39:6,  1 Chronicles 13:14,   Psalm 65:9,   95:7,   Luke 4:18,   Acts 20:7,   1 Timothy 3:5,  Hebrews 10:34.

True Martyrs.

‘So you want to be a Christian?

There are many people today who will be on their annual pilrimage to Church today and over this Christmas Season. But you will not see them, perhaps at Easter until next year!

People go to Church or fellowship for many reasons, religiosity, tradition, lonliness, the food ect.

But true believers go because we love jesus, who chose us and set us free from our sinful pasts. We are in a one to one relationship daily with Him, reading and trying to apply the bible, praying and seeking the lost all around us.

In turn we are rejected, hurt, opposed, persecuted, bullied, even threatened and intimidated by those who reject the truth. But we have to forgive them and press, because some of us were one like that too.

Psalm 98:2,  Matthew 11:28-30,  Acts7:60-8:1, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, 12.
