The Blood. One.

The Bible and Science.

Blood, the world now claims to have discovered the secrets of human make up in our blood? DNA and bone marrow, blood types are all helping science and medicine to make serious breakthroughs in the need to fight crime and cure people of various diseases?

But the blood of the bible is two fold in the first animals slaughtered for the cleansing of human failures/sins and to make items holy before God in the Tabernacle and the Temple!

But Jesus blood is far more different from ours, in that He was the perfect man and thus His blood being pure and clean is able to much more for us who have been bought back to God by it!

The revelation of Jesus. Two.

Passover Lamb.

We are about to celebrate Easter in the Christian world, the most important time of the year after Christmas? But these events in historical time covered some thirty-three years and much of these years little is known about Jesus?

Believers in the early Church as mentioned in the New Testament books referred to our Savior as our Passover Lamb, this points to their Jewishness or Israelites that they considered themselves to be!

Blood has always been required by God for the cleansing of failure/sin, but the death of Jesus shedding made the final atonement possible! We now take communion only in remembrance of His death and await His return with the promised hope of Salvation.

Romans 3:23,   6:23,   1 Corinthians 5:7,   Isaiah 53:7-10.

Death and Resurrection. Part-Three.

Jesus Family.

When we come to the events that are part of our Easter celebrations, we tend to forget that Jesus’ family were with Him and around about. His earthly mother Mary was at the cross/stake/tree and rushing to the tomb on the morning of His resurrection.

Jesus had two new believers that are mentioned at the cross, the thief and the Roman soldier. On that first Easter morning many female followers came to that empty tomb, some saw Angels, others a bright light and a few Jesus arisen from the grave.

Matthew 27:55-56, 61, 28:3-6,  Mark 15:40, 47, 16:1-9,  Luke 24:1-10,  John 19:25, 20:1-11, 16, 18.

What or where will you be this coming Easter Sunday? Still in your sin, full of the world or will you have the faith to repent and believe in these Good works of Jesus, who has made final atonement for you and join the family of Ekklesia and the promise of Eternal Salvation!
