The Doctrine of Feelings. Part-One.

Modern western Society.

Today we are being told to live our lives by our feelings, the feelings to be what we want to be rather than what we must be? Sadly many people in the world both Christians and not are being lead away from God. As we have seen over the last few weeks the bible is full of people doing their own things and ending up in a bad way.

Humanism, rationalism and secularism are now the new three or trinity of gods that dominate our society in what is called toleration, human rights and free choices to express. The bible shows us what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah and many nations who chose to go in a unwise manor, Egypt, Greece and Rome are no more.

Genesis 13:10-13, 19:1-28,  Matthew 10:13,  Luke 6:27-29, 17:1-3,  2 Peter 2:6.

Terrorism. Part-One.

Freedom Fighters or Murderers?

Modern terrorism is not really much different from anything that was done in the past. It depends which country that we will choose to look at first. In the UK it has been Irish based terror, which has and continues now for over 200 years. It depends which side of the fence that you might be on?

Europe has and many other countries around the world suffer terribly from these kinds of attacks almost on a daily basis. Everyone will point their finger at Israel in how its treats the Palestinians and yet since 7/7 Britain now faces home grown terror from its own Muslim population.

The bible tells all the time about war and murder, most of the books in the Old Testament tell of how Israel had to fight the nations around them. But God is very clear about the differences of a war and murder.   Exodus 20:1-26, The Book of Joshua.

Question the system? Part-One.

Communist lands.

Cuba, North-Korea, China, Syria, Angola, Venezuela are what is left the once effective Communist block. Many of these nations still today do not allow their people to have the right to express themselves. It remains a crime to question the State or the system, it is considered a mental illness to believe in any higher power than that of the philosophy of the founding fathers of Marxism, Socialism and Communism.

People live in fear of their own neighbours and work colleges, if not family. Having no religion is considered to be the intelligent way for humanity to further itself.  Psalm 14:1,  53:1.
