Mass Murder. Part-One.

The Crusades.

Human history has been built on the ability of people to kill each other, over the last two thousand years one Genocide after another has followed many in the name of religion.

Religion must be seperated from faith, religion is about keeping rituals and legalism! Where faith is about a personal relationship with Jesus and trusting God to provide.

The Christian Crusades of the Roman Catholic Church was the first attempt to unify Christian Europe, since the fall of the Roman Empire in 350AD. The Islamic Conquest of the Holy lands was the spark or the excuse to introduce the Apocalyptic end of the world. Instead it lead to the butchery of many Christians in Hungary wo refused an alliance with the Pope.

Jews living in Germany suffered the first Holocaust and fled to the russian steppes, while more ordinary, muslim and jewish folks were murdered in the name of Jesus in Jerusalem.

Deuteronomy 18:22,   Jeremiah 20:6,   John 10:33,   Galatians 5:16,    Ephesians 4:14.

Birth of the Great Shepherd. Part-Three.

Uncaring Humanity.

Christmas does not end with the birth of the baby Jesus, after all the commercial build up to this one special day of food, family, presents, arguments, lonliness, suicide and adultry?

People had to flee Bethlehem, after the birth and the visit of the Magi because mad King Herod was out to get rid of this child. In fact we see this everyday in the world, people keep rejecting the good news message of Jesus, with all sorts of excuses.

Herod was not the first, he is not the last and there will be more of the same to come. Pharoah of Egypt, the Turkish-Armenian genocide, the Crusades, Adolf Hitler, Phol Pot, Burundi-Rwanda.

Even this week there has been mass murders and another Burundi crisis is fermenting as humanity condems Paris and forgets about the rest of the world.

Matthew 2:1-8,  12-18,  Isaiah 59:7,  Jeremiah 31:15,  Acts 8:1.

Birth of the great Shepherd. Part-Two.

A God who Cares.

Jesus came to die for us, because God cares for us. He cares for those in need and the poor, He is able to use others to inspire them to service and us to who believe in Him.

The world is full of do gooders, who moan about why? why? does God not do this and that, stop so and so?

God does not fit in our pockets, it is rather we who believe in Him fit into His.

Psalm 72:9-12,  John 3:15-17,  1 Corinthians 2:10.

Editing. Part-Two.

A time to Question.

Motives are always the keys for every believer in relation to everything and what we are being told about the advancements in DNA today may not be the whole truth. Much research will bring many needed benifits to humanity, but at what cost?

There ar many ways to challnge the establishment of big buisness, through writing a letter to the press, drug companies, working through our local Mp or Senator or equivilant.

But to sit back and to ignore is a sin, when we are ourselves disturb by the worry of what interferance being done to DNA may cause in the future.

When man began to Dwell. Part-Three.

Inheritance.

One would like to think that after the flood, humanity would have learned a thing or two. But sadly they grew in numbers again and fell into the same sins, which they had inherited from those eight survivors of year 601.

They descided to get together and build that tower, that they knew would lead to their confusion by God and being spread out from each other across the Earth. But they still went ahead with their plans, and this is a warning to the world today that it is heading for destruction. Not by water as scientists claim, but by fire as the bible says.

Genesis 11:1,  3,  8, 2 Peter 3:7.

Conception. Part-Two.

Miracles.

The birth of Jesus was a supernatural devine miracle, healing is also a miracle and getting saved from our Sins. Science can guess or find a rational explanation to any event, but not the real answers.

Science can do many great things to improve our lot, but it has no rational explanation of faith.

Humanity has come up with many systems over the millenia to improve society, but Sin remains are unsolved condition.

The bible tells us only God can help us, if we set out to give up the selfishness in our attitudes.

Job 36:10,  Luke 17:4,  Acts 3:19,  Revelation 2:21.

What Humanity Fears. Part-One.

Jesus’ promised Return.

Atheism and Communism in China and North-Korea fear this claim perhaps more than any other threat, why?  Why fear something that you claim you do not believe in, because the reality is that you doubt or you believe your achievement will be destroyed.

These nations and their systems work on the idea of mass control and in the worship of men, so they have opened themselves up to idolitary.

The return of the Lord will pronounce the end of the ages in which all of humanity will have no choices in having to bow to Him.

Zephania 3:8-9,   John 14:6,  Acts 15:15-16,   Romans 16:20,   1 Corinthians 15:23-25,   Philippians 2:10.

Zyclone-B. Part-One.

Chemical Weapons.

We hear much today about the use of chemical weapons in Syria and how Saddam Hussein used them against the Kurds. But the use of gas and vapours is nothing new, we tend to think that they were invented for World War-1 (1914-18).

Zyclone-B was used by Nazi-Germany to kill 1.2 million people in World War-II (1938-45), of which 960,000 were Jewish.

Vapour gas and acids in the form of Prussiac acid or Prussian blue was placed on the Bayonets of German infantrymen fighting in the Napolionic invasion of 1813.

Mans hearts are evil, depite the claims by many that Humanity is good. We see the ager of Sin in us rise in issues of national identity and immigration.

Judges 12:6,  Matthew 26:73,   Mark 14:70,   Job 24:24,   Hebrews 10:22-23.

War. Part-One.

Men go to war with each other for all sorts of reasons, some are minor while others are more serious.

The first battle or war is mentioned in Genesis 3:15 between Satan and God. So it is not just mans failings weaknesses and sin that leads us to attack each other. Exodus 14:13-14. War has been an instrument used by God to judge the nations.

Many people today seek to find peace, to reconcile and these are fine moral objectives, but the bible tells us that Satan is very good at peace too. That is how at the end of the age he will deceive the nations. Revelation 20:3, 8.

Our Inheritance. Part-Three.

The Cure.

Faith cannot be measured, we can only pass comment or judge by what we see in another. But God is the only one who can see the heart and the conditions, the motives within us all.  Hebrews 4:12-14,  Psalm 33:13-17.

Humanity has inherited Sin and failure and there are so many bad aspects within those categories, that science can neither detect, identify or remove. But God has provided us with a way out, a way to see ourselves as we really are and rely upon Him to help us.  John 3:15-17,  Luke 4:18,  Revelation 1:5.
