The Temple Mount. Part-One.

Dome of the rock, Jerusalem.

Security issues, if it were the U.S.A. or the U.K. it perhaps would be no problem? But because it is in Israel it is a problem, that the Palestinians are not allowed to carry knives to kill Jews?

It is the most unbelievable situation that a nation cannot place a security screen to prevent attacks! This has to do with the illegal occupation of Palestine, but if we go back to 1890 and the arrival of the first Jews back to their promised land there were only Arabs and Lebanese people scattered there under the Ottomans?

Under the years of the British Mandate 1919 to 1947, there were frequent clashes between the British armed forces and the local Arbs who started to identify themselves as the Philistines?

Exodus 32:13,  Numbers 13:21-33, 32:9-12,  Deuteronomy 1:24-25,  Acts 7:5,  Hebrews 11:9.

Replacement Theology. Part-One.

The sad thing today with so many Christians is that they have started to move away from what the scriptures of the Bible is really saying. They have started to change and ignore whole sections of it.  They either call these old fashioned ideas or the opinions of men, the writers. One doctrine which has plagued the Christian Church for the length of its history, is that of excluding the Jews. First the book of Hebrews was not accepted into the cannon, then through various campaign’s the Crusades, inquisition, the Martin Luther reformation, Russian pogroms and finally the Nazi Holocaust. Christians have made excuses over the Jews like saying they are Christ killers. But it was Jesus the King of the Jews, the Jewish Messiah who said himself that he was going to the cross.  Luke 18:31-34, Matthew 20:17-19, Mark 10:31-34.

Now today with the establishment of the State of Israel, some mislead people are trying again to attack the Jews with replacement theology and various political movements in support of the Palestinian cause, which says Israel has no rights to the land God promised to return the Jews to. Matthew 5:17-18, All these beliefs are contradictory to the Bible. You either believe the bible or you don’t.

Jesus was never political

Today there seems to be a new movement and stance in the British Churches in relation to Israel, especially in light of the Palestinian peoples and their rights to the land. Some Christian clergy have joined the ‘Christ at the road block‘ movement.

But the reality of Jesus was, he was moral, being a perfect man fulfilling the Law without sin. He criticized the religious leaders of the day, but in no way did he ever get involved politically with the Roman rulers.

The Jewish people wanted Jesus to be their King and to restore the Kingdom of Israel, but he came as the suffering servant to die and take the sins of man on his body to redeem those who would believe in Him.
