Demons. Two.

Not Always?

Some believe that all their bad experiences are connected to the work of the Devil, while the good time must be the blessings of God? But this is not so, because tribulation to the early Church helped it to spread out from Jerusalem!

God does intervene from time to time in our situations, to sift us to disturb us, so that we might be getting on with His work and not our pleasure and stagnation! The Devil and his demonic host would be happy that we were inactive, thus ineffective!

Blessed are the peace makers and peace from strife is a great achievement, but repentance in war is even better to see souls saved from the madness of conflict? The Devil will one day bring the promise of peace to the world, before he turns and reveals his evil self with the 666 markings!

”RESURRECTION.”

POWER.

The Apostle Paul reconised this power in the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, that he was also seeking in his own life to die that physical death that he might to be resurrected.

Today many Christians are being murdered and martyred across our world, not only by Muslim fanatics, but Hindus and Communists. Others are dying because of severe persecution, they are giving up to suicide to get out of no longer being able to cope.

We have a wonderful and mercyful loving God, our Father who knows the motives of all of humanity and He sees everything all the time. We should not be quick to pass judgement on people who have mental breakdown and stress, that leads to suicide.

Philippians 3:10-11,  1 Peter 1:3.

‘I have a Dream! Part-One.

Dr. Martin Luther King.

These are perhaps the most profound words spoken in the 20th Century and now it would seem that they have been fulfilled?  It is some times hard to believe that black people in Britain and the US are still considered not fully accepted into society today.

Racism and segregation continue, perhaps more in Europe than it does anywhere else in the ‘Christian world. One could include Australia and New Zealand to, who have problems with allowing the native peoples there own rights in their own countries.

The Sin in our hearts is great, we tend to think of lies, theft, selfishness and seek to get right with God. Yet we are not able to see the plight and oppression of our neighbours?

Immigration. Part-Two.

‘Why and Where?

There are many reasons why people leave their country of birth and go to a far away land. Persecution is probably the main reason, after that famine, natural disasters and last of all economic crises.

We tend to for get that at one time most of the countries in Europe had colonial empires, which explored the unknown world and then exploited resources, and people in to slavery.  The bible tells us about many nations ans peoples moving from place to place. Abraham and Moses were traveling great distances in their day.
