My Witness?

Fact from Fiction!

When it comes to the resurrection of Jesus, the unbelievers make a big song and dance about who said what and there were only a few who knew Him?

But they have got it wrong, because over five-hundred people, not initially known to each other met with Jesus! Some were Romans, other travellers, doubters, who failed to fathom immediately the events in Jerusalem!

Today our media is packed with fake news, from government propaganda to unverified reporting and we are pump-up to the point where ae have to believe it!

But millions world-wide today can confess a faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus, He who has changed their mental attitudes and promised them Salvation in their New and changed Lives!

Deuteronomy 19:19,  John 3:3,  15-21,  8:17,  Romans 6:23,  1 Corinthians 15:6,  2 Corinthians 13:1.

Palestine. Part-Two.

The origins of the name Palestine.

Prior to AD 57 this land was called by the Jews occupied Israel. After the Jewish revolt at Masada, near to the west-side of the Dead Sea and their defeat. The Roman decided to rid the land of the Jews, they destroyed, the Jewish Temple and the city of Jerusalem. Them Emperor Hadrian had the whole place re-built and dedicated a new temple, naming it Aelia Capitolina. All Jews where thence forbidden to enter this city. Over the three years of the new construction the Romans carried out the worst atrocities against the Jews. After that the Roman renamed the whole region  Syro-Palestina.

We must remember that this land was originally given to Israel by God. Genesis 12:6-7.
