Meeting the Needs?

Food banks and Advice!

The whole new emphasis for Ekklesia is now on providing for the poor, or people who have just got themselves into a financial pickle?

But with this new format in the body, also comes the need to talk to people and ask them their situation if not try to give them some advice or that they hear the words of Jesus with the invitation to Church?

The world looks on Christian humanism, without the gospel message as a good work, but we who believe must share our faith in God with others and if the world does not like it tough!

Matthew 23:3, Romans 10:17, 2 Timothy 4:2, Revelation 3:20, 22:17.

Ascension and Pentecost 2021.

Celebrating at Home?

This year and the last has changed the world and it also has changed the Church into applying more of the reality of living with the Holy Spirit than ever before?

This perhaps a test run for the years ahead when the Anti-Christ will be at work and we can share in the sufferings of the millions of secret believers around the world more so than praying for them, we know have that experience too?

Many believers have gone to the wall, because their own emphasis was more on fellowship than on trusting God! The early Ekklesia suffered much persecution and today we see in the west weak watered down Christianity that refuses to cope with changes forced upon them!

2 Corinthians 6:3-11, Philippians 3:3, Hebrews 11:36.

EASTER! Part-One.

Bread & Wine?

For some it has been a long time now since we have been able to fellowship together and yet we should know that we can all the time in the Spirit and in truth as many millions do everyday in fear of being murdered?

The Lords table or Communion was set in place by our Lord at the last supper or Jewish Passover meal. He took bread and wine and left us an example of His death and atonement for our sins, before the Cross/stake/tree and in the New Covenant for us to keep!

Any believer can share the bread and the wine and quote scripture to family or their bubble and we have no need of a priest or a minister/pastor. It may be a challenge, but in these difficult times where two or three are gathered, Jesus said He would be with us!

Exodus 12:11-48, Matthew 18:20, 26:26-27, Mark 14:12-16, John 4:23-24, 1 Corinthians 11:25-26, Hebrews 2:12.

Living in the Holy Spirit!

Hard going, but we can praise God and give thanks?

Eventually a vaccine and maybe even a cure will be found, but for now for some of us it would be wise to stay in doors and limit human contact apart from who we are with!

As believers we are free to worship God at anytime and so we can praise Him and give thanks for what He has, is and will be doing for us!

We have the opportunity to share our faith, to pray, study the Bible and much more in caring and loving?

Romans 12:12,  15,   2 Corinthians 13:9,   Ephesians 1:16,   Colossians 1:12,   3:17,  1Peter 1:6.

Why no missions to Neptune, Uranus and Triton?

Will this change soon or is it to Obvious?

One wonders why nothing is happening in relation to visiting these two lesser gas giants and their many moons, if not mysterious Triton?

Does science and astronomy already know enough about these worlds not to bother with them until perhaps some future date or is there something that they do not want us to know about them!

The problems with NASA and the ESA is they only tell us what they want us to know and at that very little of anything? I do not think that much is revealed to the various universities worldwide that is claimed and what is given is limited leaving many to speculate about what is in the dark!

Genesis 15:5,   Judges 5:20,   Job 3:9,   Matthew 24:29,   Luke 21:25,   1 Corinthians 15:41,  Jude 1:13,   Revelation 6:13.

Hearing the Truth. Two.

Stephen.

Stephen spoke the truth and for it he was attributed as the first Martyr of the Chistian Church!   Acts 7:1-60.

Today believers are still dying around the world, because we dare to speak the truth to a world full of selfies and selfishness? But we too were once blind and could not see this wonderful truth, this Love that God has for us?

1 Thessalonians 3:4.

Please do not stop speaking or sharing Jesus this season, because we do not know who will be chosen to join us soon at the Lords table to break bread and drink wine?

Matthew 12:18,  Romans 16:13,  1 Corinthians 10:16,   Colossians 3:12,   1 Peter 1:2.

False Teachings. One.

Another Agenda?

The Koran and any religious book, including the Bible can be tweisted to justify the beginnings of a sectarian cultic ideal. Many young Muslims are being lead down a road of false teaching by very well educated and politically motivated people around the world today.

We have seen a string of Islamic inspired attacks across the world this year and we hear of the occasional taking out by drones of a military leader, but the real problems are being avoided that of false Qur’nic teaching in many Mosques.

As believers we are not limited in shring the Good News of Jesus with neighbours, at school and work. God has given us all the ability to share Him.

Deuteronomy 31:7-8, Romans 10:15-17, Phillipians 1:27-28, 2 Peter 2:1.
