LOVE?

Our love for God!

This is usually the time to share in relation to St. Valentines, but this year we will come at the subject in a different way and focus on how much do we really love God?

Loving God is the first commandment, with all our heart, soul and mind, then we can love others, having compassion on them and comforting them, just as Jesus has done for us!

The world is full of new ideas about sexuality and relationships, but these are not in the Holy Bible, when it comes to Gods set order of things?

Leviticus 18:22, Psalm 53:1-3, Matthew 22:32, John 3:3, 3:14-21, Romans 1:26, 2 Corinthians 1:4, Colossians 2:13-15, Hebrews 13:4.

The Chemistry of Luv?

Another area, where science cannot Fathom!

When two people meet in a room of many and the eyes meet so starts the chemistry that cannot separate them and this is beyond psychology as much as science, one may be attractive and the other not so in ones own estimations?

The Bible tells us that what He puts together no one must separate and this shows us that we humans don’t have to mate, we don’t have to seek anything, we have free will and choices, since many of never marry, while others live for themselves the sex more than the relationship of a commitment?

It is amazing that more songs have been written about love than any other subject and it shows that we are unique creatures more so because we have been created in the image of God!

Job 20:12, Psalm 6:4, 100:5, Ecclesiastes 9:9, Songs of Solomon 1:2, 2:3-5, 10, 8:7-9, Matthew 10:37, Romans 1:31, 9:25, 1 Corinthians 13:4-8.

Love Songs!

Most songs are about Love?

Human emotions are the most complex in nature, since we have been given authority over everything on Earth!

One wonders if psychology has looked into the effects negative and positive in relation to the love song, apart from music?

We do not really know if bird song is defence or romantic or just information to warn others, ‘Get off my Territory?

God loved and He has given us His son….John 3:16,  Jesus said through the Apostle Paul there is nothing greater than Love!  1 Corinthians 13:13.

Genesis 1:27-28,   Psalm 119:165,   Songs of Solomon 8:6-7,   Micah 7:9,   Matthew 6:12–15,  18:22,   Ephesians 4:26,   Hebrews 13:14,   1 Peter 1:22,   Revelation 3:19.

Red roses and my Valentine!

‘Love is in the Air?’

Its that time of the year again when couples express their love for each other, cards, red roses, and the special romantic meal?

This has become the love of the world, it is based on emotions, lust and selfishness and dressed up to mean something it is not!

But the Love of God for us sent Jesus to give His life so that we would be set free from the curse of the Law! Jesus love in our hearts makes us take responsibility to care and be concerned for others, over that of advantage or even thanks from them!

John 3:3,  14-21,  Ephesians 5:2,  2 Thessalonians 2:16,  1 John 3:4,   4:10-11,  19.
