Lack of Bible Knowledge is leading to Death?

Equity has blighted the Church and the world, who all want to keep each others company and excuse sin to think that because of their good actions God will help them to escape punishment!

But the Holy Bible does not say any such thing and the many who propel these ideas in the media, churches and talks are not saved, it is nothing more than a 9-5 job for them and the doctrine of love, once saved always saved will prove enough?

The fires of Hell are awaiting these deviant and wicked people and the New Testament tells us so, but then if you do not read the Bible one would not know!!!

Another Agenda?

The Koran and any religious book, including the Bible can be tweisted to justify the beginnings of a sectarian cultic ideal. Many young Muslims are being lead down a road of false teaching by very well educated and politically motivated people around the world today.

We have seen a string of Islamic inspired attacks across the world this year and we hear of the occasional taking out by drones of a military leader, but the real problems are being avoided that of false Qur’nic teaching in many Mosques.

As believers we are not limited in shring the Good News of Jesus with neighbours, at school and work. God has given us all the ability to share Him.

Deuteronomy 31:7-8, Romans 10:15-17, Phillipians 1:27-28, 2 Peter 2:1.

The foundation of the Faith.

If you claim to be a Christian believer, but you do not believe in the resurrection of Jesus? You will have some serious problems in relation to your salvation, because Jesus Victory of death is the key to our New Lives in Him!

The resurrection continues to be the focus of the Disciples and Apostles in their teaching and preaching throughout the New Testament and it lays the basis for our faith.

We all have to die, but for us believers it will be the crossing over into Eternity to be with our Lord and Master Jesus.

Acts 17:3,  Romans 8:34,  1 Corinthians 15:13-14,  20,  Colossians 3:1.

Ideology.

Ideology, the ideas of men.

When we look at the world today we are drawn to think of the many closed lands and societies, that do not have or want to have our concepts and what we describe as freedoms.

These nations seem to be closed and controlled, such as North-Korea, China, Cuba and yet there are many lands near and far who practice similar conditions, such as Saudi-Arabia, Iran, Algeria, Sudan, Belarus and the list could go on and on.

Many follow the ideology of men and the party or a system or a king, religion or great leader. Some keep to the ethical code of their revolution. But what does mark them out is all who oppose must be imprisoned for a long time or killed.

It is valuable to read books in relation to Ray Bradbury and Farenheight 451 and George Orwells 1984, with the various films. Both these men were writing about conditions in 1938-1948. They were trying to warn us that any society can turn from what it is now into an idelogical dictatorship.

Demythologization. Part-Two.

Karl Barth made a brave stance, when he refused to take the Hitler salute at the Barman conference. Barth said ‘that he would only acknowledge Jesus at the conference and never a man.

As we look back into history we can see that it was a long time before German Christians would speak out against the Jewish genocide. It was only when they came under threat from Adolf Hitler that they unified.

Today many Christians are against Israel and they continue to play the anti-Semitic ticket, denying biblical prophecy and  many things that are in conflict with biblical teaching.  Revelation 19:20.
