‘I have a Dream! Part-One.

Dr. Martin Luther King.

These are perhaps the most profound words spoken in the 20th Century and now it would seem that they have been fulfilled?  It is some times hard to believe that black people in Britain and the US are still considered not fully accepted into society today.

Racism and segregation continue, perhaps more in Europe than it does anywhere else in the ‘Christian world. One could include Australia and New Zealand to, who have problems with allowing the native peoples there own rights in their own countries.

The Sin in our hearts is great, we tend to think of lies, theft, selfishness and seek to get right with God. Yet we are not able to see the plight and oppression of our neighbours?

Exodus 22:7-11,  Psalm 15:3,    Matthew 5:43,    Luke 10:29.

Easter. Part-Three.

‘Veritas.’

Pilate said to Jesus ‘What is truth?  Like Pilate when we look around the world and the society that we live in today, it is still hard to find the truth? We cannot be even sure if the media is reporting the truth about Syria, wither our elected politicians are truthful, etc.  John 18:35-38.

Pilate wanted so much to release Jesus, because he knew it was all a sham, but the religious leaders put him in a position that tied his hands.  Mark 15:10,   John 19:12,  15.

This is a place that we do not want to allow ourselves to get into, wither you are in teaching, local government, ministry or just what ever place of work or life.

What in the World? Part-Two.

People do not like to hear that Israel is a chosen nation by God, they want to say that what is written in the bible is not true or it was written from their point of view.  Numbers 32:9-12.

The land was given to them and they lost it due to disobedience, but God always promised He would restore them one day. That day has come and all the events of history and human time will be played out in this region. Matthew 24 and 2 Thessalonians 2.

For believers we need not worry about these events.

But if we are not saved, then we do need to seek Jesus today.
