War. Part-Three.

Human Nature.

People cannot help anger and hateing each other, they find excuses to start a row over nothing. on a domestic scale this can become bad enough, but on larger global scale it will lead to war and conflicts. A third party can help to resolve any situation, but then the hardness of our stubborness sets in to block off the mediation.

Wars are caused by the inherent Sin and selfishness of the human heart a condition that does not even leave those who have faith in God. But to have faith in God and a personal relationship does help us to see our own faults and ask the lord to help us, intead of ignoring or denying in the first place.

Genesis 6:5,  Deuteronomy 29:19,  Proverbs 6:17-19,  Matthew 15:18-19,  Mark 7:21-23.

Terroism. Part-Two.

‘My/Our Agenda!

Everyone has their own agenda, but we have no right to force on others? Terrorist new and old don’t play by the rules of engagement, they have their rules to use fear and intimidation to get what they want. In 1605 Guy Fawkes had the Democratic ability to place out his beliefs, but instead he chose to use violence to kill the king, Parliament and quite a large number of innocent people in the wooden city.

The bible tells us that when the Jews were able to return to the land by the Emperor of Babylonia, they came under attack from their old enemies.  We do so much need to have a faith in god today, because of people trying to use violence to push their multinational world vision, through terrorism.

Nehemiah 2:10, 19,   4:7-8,  Psalm 5:5-6,  21:7,   Proverbs 29:10-11,   Matthew 10:26,  28,  31.

On the road to Emmaus. Part-Two.

Jesus had to die.

These men were followers of Jesus, but they had misunderstood what the scriptures (Tanakh/Old Testament) was telling them. As we have already seen they wanted a liberator.

Jesus came to deliver us from our sins, all who have, are and will place their trust in him by faith will be saved.  Luke 24:25-27.

Virgin Birth. Part-Three.

‘Don’t be afraid!

We are twice told in the story of the birth of Jesus by Angels not to be afraid. It is a natural thing for humans to be afraid, when something happens that we do not understand. Joseph was perplexed, confused, when he found his wife to be Mary pregnant. Matthew 1:20.  The Shepherds out in the fields were startled by the appearance of Angels in the middle of the night.  Luke 2:8-20.

But look at the contrast here to the paranoid king Herod, what did he do with his fear?  Matthew 1:16-18,  Jeremiah 31:15.

Our Inheritance. Part-Two.

Failure.

I suppose you could say that failure is Sin, but failure does carry the reality of the condition we suffer from. Failure is humanities terminal illness, with no cure.  John 8:34, 16:9.

God is merciful, that is one of His many attributes. God has been so merciful to humanity, that He sent his one and only son Jesus into the world to save us. Salvation for eternity and heaven come from our trusting in Jesus now, today. we must believe that he died for us, and rose from the dead on the third day.  John 3:16-21, Mark 15:21-32,  Mark 16:1-11, Phillippians 2:5-11.
