Stephen.

The first Christian Martyr.  Acts 6:5-8:3.

Today we hear daily in our media reports of the deaths of Christians in Iraq, Syria and Egypt. But many more die across the globe in China, India, the Muslim world, tribal and political violence in Africa and South-America.

Meanwhile Christians die in the Britain and the U.S.A. for their faith, or good deeds. The world does not love us, because we do not continue to tell lies and live in the darkness. We are alive within the New Life, that the Holy Spirit of God is within us. We will be honest and tell the truth. We will also help those in need, in the world and in the Church and not find escuses to justify Sin.

Stephen was murdered by Libertarians not because he had a faith in God, but because he spoke a truth that  they did not want to hear. We will be persecuted and some of us may go home, but even if we are attacked, provoked we must learn to forgive and not react.

Ephesians 4:23, 32,   Colossians 3:10,   Hebrews 12:24,   1 Peter 1:4,   1 John 2:9,   Revelation 3:12.

Sexuality. Part-Three.

Apostasy.

Today the ‘Church in western societies are plagued by Apostasy teachings that justify Sin. Many who promote these teachings are not born again believers, but may only be doing a job. Their service is a 9-5 work, with some Christian traditions added on and yet some profess a faith. These have been deluded into thinking that God has accepted them ans want us to believe that we too can continue to Sin.

The Bible is very clear about what it teaches in relation to Sin and the consequent condition to damnation, if we do not change our attitudes and halt the practice.

Jude 4,  2 Peter 2:2-3,  2:18-19.

Easter. Part-Three.

‘Veritas.’

Pilate said to Jesus ‘What is truth?  Like Pilate when we look around the world and the society that we live in today, it is still hard to find the truth? We cannot be even sure if the media is reporting the truth about Syria, wither our elected politicians are truthful, etc.  John 18:35-38.

Pilate wanted so much to release Jesus, because he knew it was all a sham, but the religious leaders put him in a position that tied his hands.  Mark 15:10,   John 19:12,  15.

This is a place that we do not want to allow ourselves to get into, wither you are in teaching, local government, ministry or just what ever place of work or life.

Holocaust Denial. Part-Two.

Revisionism.

The desire to change history to cover up murder, guilt, Sin is nothing new. Today many nations implement their own version of Revisionism or denial. The British have covered up or excused both west-African slavery as a localized event that was well in place before they arrived. But what they fail to explain is that what they did involved the mass humiliation and murder of millions for profit. Ireland is another case, occupation and the advantage when it occurred to starve the population to death.

God wants us to confess our failings to him and turn away from the past, to a New life of honesty and truthfulness. doing what is right with integrity.   Job 6:25,  Proverbs 12:3,  19:1,  Acts 3:19-20,
