Its one hundred years since the end of World War-I (1914-18), ‘The wars to end all wars? But the truth was it was the beginning of a new age in warfare with the introduction of many new things, radio communications, mustered gas, flamethrowers and the tank!

It was also the age of the first use of aerial combat from ‘Dog fighting to bombing raids, by German airships over London and all gentlemanly of course!

What was gained was enough knowledge for world war-II (1939-45), were eugenics was fulfilled in the Nazi Holocaust and new atomics and rocketry were also part of the new culmination of wars!

God wants us believers to really remember those who went before us and to see what he has done for us in redeeming us back to Him through Jesus! To understand that we have a precious salvation and the promise of an eternal life with Him!

Wars and Corruption!

They perhaps have observed us over a time period and seen that we do not seem to learn from our past mistakes of both corruption and having wars? Humanity cannot learn to end Genocide, as much as a fight between drunks outside a pub or at a match?

If they are out their, they will be aware that we have a mechanism within us that cannot be cured by our own trying to do good and perhaps they too are aware of sin? Since the Holy Bible tells us that when Adam and Eve sinned, so did all of creation fall!

They too would have a similar religious theology and would to be aware of this heavenly collapse, because what ever they call their god they would know that he created everything!

Our New year has started off with the murder of thirty-nine people celebrating the new year? What ever name we have for Al-Quaida, they are showing us that they have no intentions of stopping?

America did deals in Syria with groups who they did not bother to check out, they did the same in the Ukraine and called it Freedom? But if one has learned anything from history, we should know that alliances come and go!

This was the same problem ancient Israel had in the bible, when they gave up on the God who had delivered them from Egypt and went their own way!

Independent Spirit.

Britain is not like the rest of Europe, it is the largest island and had the largest Empire the planet has ever seen in human recorded history. For the last 1000 years it has been a defiant nation marking out its own course and influences near and far.

It was the first country to proclaim the English reformation back in the fourteenth century by John Wycliffe, who had a large influence on many later Christian movements across Europe.

Since 1645 the Protestant protectorate has maintained Christian freedoms, that no other nation apart from the United States of America could claim.

Many people, such as younger people in the U.K. today are upset by this turn of events? But is us older folks who remember from experience or from our parents, who had to go through two world wars in the last century based in Europe and Germany.

God Provides for Us.

The bible tells us that it is God who made the world and everything in it. We do not really know if it was created in six days or millions of years. Perhaps one day we will discover that the whole solar system and other planets, if we ever get to another star were all made at around the same time! Psalm 104:14.

God gave to us grass for animals and cattle to eat, He also gave humans seeds, herbs and grasses, so that they could sow them and produce crops. Today there is much famine and economic failure, along with wars and displacement of people because of natural disasters.

Multi-national argriculture companies are monopolising on the supply of seeds now to impoverished parts of the world, they are genetically modifying them to be clones. This means that despite them having great survival potential, they cannot produce seeds as a natural plant would.

So the price rises and governments are blackmailed to change policies to suit Western ways of thinking.
