My Witness?

Fact from Fiction!

When it comes to the resurrection of Jesus, the unbelievers make a big song and dance about who said what and there were only a few who knew Him?

But they have got it wrong, because over five-hundred people, not initially known to each other met with Jesus! Some were Romans, other travellers, doubters, who failed to fathom immediately the events in Jerusalem!

Today our media is packed with fake news, from government propaganda to unverified reporting and we are pump-up to the point where ae have to believe it!

But millions world-wide today can confess a faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus, He who has changed their mental attitudes and promised them Salvation in their New and changed Lives!

Deuteronomy 19:19,  John 3:3,  15-21,  8:17,  Romans 6:23,  1 Corinthians 15:6,  2 Corinthians 13:1.

The Blood. Two.

Resurrection, not Re-incarnation!

Jesus physically died and in the same way rose from the grave with the marks of His execution, we know this because of doubting Thomas wanting to see the holes in His hands!

Jesus appeared to Mary the former prostitute in the garden, He appeared to His Disciples, to the men travelling to Emmaus and over 500 people said they saw and met with Him over the forty days between His rising and Ascension back into Heaven.

Jesus was not reincarnated he was the same person on human form and when he returns all who brought those marks on Him will see Him marred.

Risen from the Dead. ONE.

Resurrection.

There are many accounts in the Bible in relation to the dead being brought back to life! Many reject the fact that Jesus really rose from the dead, that some kind of trick was played, or His body was stolen.

Yet there are 500 witnesses to His rising from the grave and many were Romans, apart from the locals. In fact today people still claim to have seen Jesus coming to them in coma’s and near death experiences from automobile crashes to the surgeons table.

Faith is the key to understanding God, to admit what we are and to choose to turn from our failure and not return to it again. The death and work of atonement is final, the resurrection is Jesus victory for us over the sting of death.

Resurrection. Part-Two.

500 Witnesses.

For many people it is very hard to believe that a man who has died can be brought back to life?

Today medicine has shown us that people can be resussated, but for Jesus He did, He had to die and rise to set us who believe from the curse of death.

Effectivley death could not hold Him, we see Thomas not believing and then seeing the holes for himself.

But the resurrection of Jesus was not limited to a few people, over five hundred people saw and met Him.

Matthew 28:16-20,  John 20:26-29,  21:1-3,  Acts 1:3-8,  1 Corinthians 15:5-7.
